What is the ASPIRE European Project?
The ASPIRE Project aims to provide a global and simultaneous response to two highly correlated problems: high unemployment, combined with high rates of overweight and obesity. The « Vivons en Forme » (VIF®) program, which has long been involved in the fight against obesity, overweight and social inequalities, is transferring its expertise in health promotion based on behaviour change to a European scale.
The acronym ASPIRE stands for Adding to Social capital and individual Potential In disadvantaged REgions.
The ASPIRE programme is designed to help our beneficiaries improve their general well-being. We enhance their soft skills through various workshops on the themes of nutrition, physical activity, well-being and mental well-being.
Conviviality and shared experience are the watchwords of the programme.
The ASPIRE project offers collective workshops in small groups of around ten people on the following themes:
This group support can be continued using the digital support platform, which incorporates the content covered in the ASPIRE sessions.
